Osteoarthritis Study
Study Background
Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic joint condition that affects millions of people worldwide, particularly older adults. It commonly impacts weight-bearing joints such as the knees, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. OA results from the breakdown of cartilage and changes in the underlying bone, which can significantly impair quality of life. Despite existing treatments, many individuals continue to experience persistent symptoms. This study is investigating a potential new treatment to help reduce knee pain and improve joint function in people living with OA.
On this study participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new investigational treatment, or a placebo.
