Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Weight Management Research Study
This is a research study investigating a potential new medication for type 2 weight management. Obesity is a global epidemic and major risk factor for chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, dyslipidemia, gastrointestinal disorders, joint and muscular disorders, respiratory problems, sleep apnea, and certain cancers. Medical intervention can assist in decreasing the risk of these diseases. On this study participants will randomly be assigned to receive either the investigational treatment, or a placebo.
