Christine is an experienced healthcare leader with a strong background in facility, clinical, and nursing management across both public and private hospital environments. Her career includes leading the successful start‑up of two new sites, guiding complex change management initiatives, and developing high‑performing, collaborative teams.
With expertise spanning nursing management, oncology, leadership, and clinical research, Christine brings a balanced blend of operational insight and strategic thinking. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, where she focused on clinical trials and research—an academic foundation that strengthens her ability to connect evidence‑based practice with real‑world service delivery.

Dr Karen Kaluhin serves as the Lead Principal Investigator at Sutherland and is the Medical Director at Canopy Clinical. She brings more than two decades of broad clinical experience to her leadership roles.
Karen completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney in 2001 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. She has been both a past and current examiner for the RACGP, contributing to the development and assessment of future GPs.
For over 20 years, Karen has practised as a GP in Sydney, where she values the continuity of care and long‑standing patient relationships that define general practice. In addition to her GP work, she holds a VMO appointment in Primary Care with NSW Health (Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network), further broadening her scope across complex care environments.
Karen entered clinical research in 2022 and has worked as a Principal Investigator since 2023. She has provided oversight as a PI across numerous clinical trials, spanning multiple therapeutic areas. Passionate about advancing evidence‑based medicine, she is committed to supporting innovative therapies that benefit both her own patients and the wider community. She is also deeply invested in mentoring and leading the exceptional doctors within the Canopy Clinical Medical Team.
Outside of her professional life, Karen enjoys exploring new dining experiences, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Helen Yoo graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2018, then completed her junior doctor training at Royal North Shore Hospital. She then achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2025.
She works as a Research Clinician as well as a General Practitioner and loves that both roles complement each other in providing good care for her patients.
Special interests for which she has completed further studies include:
– Women’s Health (Masters of Women’s Health, UNSW, 2024)
– Skin cancer medicine
Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, running and finding the best eats that Sydney has to offer!

Dr Denise Moran is an Irish trained doctor who completed her medical degree at the University of Galway. She has a background in General and Emergency Medicine and a strong interest in dermatology, having completed a Professional Diploma in Clinical Dermatology.
She gained broad clinical experience working in busy hospital settings in Ireland before relocating to Australia, where she spent two years living and working in Perth. After re-locating to Sydney, Denise now works in clinical research as a Sub-Investigator, supporting the delivery of clinical trials and the development of new treatments. She plans to pursue General Practice training in the future, with her experience in clinical trials enhancing her skills in patient care and evidence-based practice.

Dr Richaela McGilligan first fell in love with Sydney during an overseas medical elective in 2016, unexpectedly prompting a gap year of loving life in Sydney.
On return to Ireland, she graduated from Queen’s University of Belfast in 2018, with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics. Her early clinical career built a strong foundation in General and Respiratory medicine, later returning to Sydney to fulfil an Emergency Medicine role, before choosing to pursue passions in Clinical Research, Aesthetics and Sports Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr Richaela has a huge love for all things fitness and wellbeing, when not in clinic she can usually be found in her local CrossFit gym or by the beach, loving a life living Down Under.
